I made it about three weeks without shopping but failed at making it the entire month purchase free. And this is what caused me to fall off the wagon; a lipstick.
Last week I bought a lipstick. Just a fuchsia, super bright pink, lipstick from Joe Fresh. A great statement colour for spring. And then things snowballed.

But really lets back things up further.
I purchased a ticket for Toronto Fashion Week, or rather World MasterCard Fashion Week. And since then I have been thinking about what I want to wear to the shows. I wanted to update my wardrobe with some really current trends that I would continue to wear and wear and wear. And I kept thinking about it to the point where I became obsessed.
I do that. We all do don’t we? Obsess about things we can’t have. And then I decided my self-imposed no shopping was silly (it wasn’t) and I should just shop (I shouldn’t) and so I grabbed the things I wanted shown above. I also picked up a pair of super flare denim from James Jeans (haven’t had a pair like these since a vintage pair in highschool!)
I am planning on curtailing the spending in March, hopefully for the entire month. Think small credit card bills, tiny. Miniscule (fingers crossed).
