My husband tells me regularly that I have ENOUGH coats. But when it comes to winter dressing I think that you can never have enough. I was thinking about investing in a good camel coat but there weren’t enough on the market this year for me to find THE coat.
And then I started looking through my pin boards, especially this one and found that I had not pinned one camel coat. But lots of white ones. So when I found this one on sale at Zara, I snapped it up.
I know more people steer clear of white coats because they will show the dirt quite easily but I love the statement they make and couldn’t be happier with this Zara find. The texture on the coat makes it more than just another wool coat.
Another thing my husband says I don’t need anymore of is purses. To be honest I am a bit of a hoarder but some of them have seen better days. Others are clutches that only make sense to take on vacation. So when I found this classic black bag on Canadian start up Pursebox I thought it was a no brainer. I love all the hardware details, the fact that I can make it a cross body bag and for the price point the leather is really good. It is going to age beautifully.

Just wondering what size you got for the white coat? I find that the arms can be quite small on Zara coats while the torso fits, or the arm fits and the shoulder is bigger.. I bought two sizes. And deciding whether to keep both or return one. But yes love this coat!

Cece, I got the large as I can not wear anything smaller in Zara most of the time. Either it is too small across the chest or in the arms. Hope that helps!

I have a camel coat on my list too, and of course I can relate to already having far too many coats, but when you live somewhere you need them, you just need options! Who wants to be stuck with one coat all winter?
I think white is beautiful and is one of my favorite colors - especially in the winter!
