Stuck on You Labels Back to School

stuck on you labels for kids, back to school labelsBack to School is upon us. With only a few weeks to go here in Canada before our munchkins hed back to the classrooms. At this stage I am lucky as my oldest is in Kindergarten the most of my back to school planning revolves around whether she has clothes that fit, a backpack and that everything is labelled.

I was surprised talking to other moms on the school grounds last year (especially after the lost and found was lain out for us all to go through to find our kids stuff) how few moms actually label their kids things.

I label everything. Shoes, backpacks, lunch bag, lunch containers. But most importantly clothing items that will be taken off through the course of the day. Coats, sweaters, mittens. They all get the label treatment.

Especially with younger children who can not always be trusted to put their things in their cubbies or not to forget the hat they took off at recess. And Teachers can’t always remember who was wearing what. But if it is labelled it will more likely make it’s way back to you. Or if it does end up in the lost and found, you know that it belongs at your house.

I have actually been known to label things like a backpack on both the outside and the inside, just to cover my bases.

stuck on you shoe labelsThese labels that I was generously sent by Stuck On You are a nice large style that is hard to miss. Just peel and stick where-ever you need. The style shown above are not the clothing labels that go through the wash but are good for pretty much everything else that goes to school. Kids love the designs and are excited to be a part of the labeling process.

The shoe labels I chose fit nicely in the heel of most shoes, although my son’s pictured above here are a bit small for the label. Good thing he will be moving up a size shortly. There is also another style that helps kids learn their left and rights, improving the chances of them getting their shoes on the proper foot.

I am really happy with these labels, we have started sticking them on everything that will be making the trek up the side walk in a few weeks. They peel and stick super easy so just store them in a drawer you have easy access to make sure that when you need the labels you have them handy.

Do you label your kids items for school & preschool?

Don't you just love stuck on you? I'm a big fan. And I have the labels, I just need to get used to the idea of putting them on EVERYTHING!
