Stripe Dress with a White Blazer

I have had this stripe JCREW factory dress for a few weeks now and every time I wear it I am amazed at how it is so comfortable but at the same time still seems to have enough structure to stay chic. The dress is jersey and very light weight. It was one of those items I picked up on a whim when JCREW factory was having a sale and now I am super pumped I did.

I played up the preppy vibe with a longer white blazer and neutral accessories. I could have gone with tan heels too but I liked the look of the pop of red instead. If you follow me on instagram you know that I could just as easily switch these Nine West heels for my red bow flats.

My husband actually asked me if I was going to wear this dress to a wedding we have to attend next weekend. I thought the ponte material was a bit casual, but he thought with the sparkly accessories it would work. I have other plans on what to wear but it proves this dress can totally be dressed up for work or daytime events.
