Hawaiian stripes ⋆ chic everywhere

This skirt. All I can say is that I am glad that I bought it. It is one of those moments that everyone goes through when they “think” something isn’t their size and then realize that it works.

Lesson learned. Just go try it on. You never know.

I don’t know about you but there are some items of clothing that I just seem to always pair together. This skirt and this denim jacket. I tried a few other items in my closet but nothing seemed to go as well as my jean jacket.

Still I think by changing up the shoes and shirt from this post, the result is very different.

I have been trying to rotate my bags this summer and fell in love with this Botkier bag all over again. Unlike my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac, this crossbody is so much roomier and can hold more that just my wallet.

I thought the patchwork leather was very 80’s inspired when I first got this bag, but that doesn’t even bother me like it once would have. Funny how we get nostalgic for things that once would have sent us running.

That skirt though!! I just love it. I am so glad you gave it a go, because it looks lovely on you, and I feel like it’s one of those pieces you can wear with multiple things. Love the royal blue flats with it. Great look.
