La Vie C’est Bon

cest bon sweater, slogan sweaterWhen I was in high school I had a thing for all things French. It culminated with a trip to Paris when I was 17, which really just made me more into France and french style.

I am not sure if a sweater so blatant is still just a nod to all things French but I don’t care.

cest bon sweater, french slogan sweater, madewell sweaterI picked up this sweater on super sale when there was an extra 30% off. It is a bit more fitted than I was hoping but I LOVE the stripe cuff. Plus the price was right to dive into the whole slogan intarsia sweater trend.

slogan sweater, intarsia sweater, madewell sweaterIn keeping with the whole French style thing I have going on I went with red trousers, my favourite trench and classic black heels.

I am not sure that the whole red and blue combination is actually French any more or just what North America’s pair for the cliche French look but I still like it so I guess that is all that matters.
