Spring has Sprung
Spring has Sprung! Even if it snows again I think we are safe to say it will melt quickly and we aren’t going to be using the term Polar Vortex again any time soon.
In fact I went sockless this past weekend (Sunday was gorgeous!!!) and didn’t feel like I was pushing the season at all.
Even though it is much warmer it is still layer weather, especially when you are wearing eyelet.
This eyelet sweatshirt from Old Navy is a spring mush have if you can still track one down (it is a HOT BUY). I will say that it is a bit cold to wear it on its own without a layer underneath because the front layer is not sweatshirt.
I don’t know what it is like around where you are but it feels like everyone has woken up from a long winter’s nap here. People are out doing yard work, playing in parks and it just feels cheerful.
If it hasn’t yet warmed up where you are, buck up, the snow will be melting soon.
If you have been following this blog for some time you will recognize the floral pants I am wearing. Even though I wear them year round they really do scream spring. Especially paired with eyelet.
I especially like how the black heels pop against the pattern of the trousers.
Outfit details: Eyelet Sweatshirt Old Navy (USA/CAN), Eyelet blouse Joe Fresh, Floral Trousers Joe Fresh (old but these are similar), Black Suede Pumps Nine West, White sunglasses Zara.
