What I wore

Casual Valentine’s Day Outfit

valentine's day outfit, casual outfit, red and pink, balloons, winterWhen I think of Valentine’s Day I really don’t think of skimpy red dresses. I think of February, snow and cold. Valentine’s Day in Canada isn’t really conducive to skimpy outfits if you need to spend alot of time outside.

But at the same time I am that dorky girl who wears green on St. Patrick’s Day, Red and Green or festive plaids at Christmas and of course Red and Pink for Valentine’s Day.

Even though when I was a kid we were told that red and pink clash (and therefore not to be worn together), it is a combination that I love around Valentine’s Day.

Topped off with some white accents (my cabled hat and pearl bracelet) and the parka that has been keeping me toasty all winter I think this is a realistic daytime Valentine’s Day outfit.
