Christmas One of a Kind Show Round Up

It is that time of year again! Time for the Christmas One of a Kind Show. For me it has become a tradition that kicks me into the Holiday Spirit and starts off my Holiday shopping spree.

Many of my favourite from previous shows are showcasing their great fashion, accessories and food again at the Toronto One of a Kind show so I don’t want to rehash too much of the same things I have seen before so here are some notable vendors that are new to the show or simply new to me! Check out prior round ups here, here and here.

one of a kind show, clothing, reclaimed leather coatsOne of the first vendors that caught my eye walking into the show this morning was Verspertine. Her gorgeous tartan capes and coats stood out from the crowd because of the gorgeous woolen fabrics and the cut of the pieces.

I also thought the recycled leather jackets from Cokluch (the two pictures on the right in the collage above) were fantastic and so on trend. But addition to being on trend they are socially responsible fashion and ridiculously cool.

jewellery, one of a kind show, torontoThe large link necklace shown above stopped me in my tracks. It was one of those pieces that could totally make an outfit. The jewellery from Tania Gleave was definitely my favourite at the show. If you are going for artful statement peices that will stand the test of time this is a booth to visit.

hanna and nikI am always moved by beautiful kids clothing. Even if I know my children would probably destroy it in a few minutes of wear. Still I am drawn in by the beautiful pieces like those shown above from Hanna and Nik. Originally it was the knit hats with the delicate over-sized flower that brought me over, but the over all neutral pallet of the collection is just gorgeous. I can just see these outfits being used for a family photo session, a winter wedding or something equally special.

decor one of a kind showWhile I am not that into folk art or anything too cottagey, I was drawn to these shabby chic hooks from the saltbox shoppe as a fun alternative to IKEA front hall storage that many of us Torontonians have instead of a front hall closet. The large door knobs make great hooks that can handle more than one coat at a time!

For those of you that aren’t into the arts and crafts, or even all the yummy food samples there is hope for you at the One of a Kind Show. Just go for a fantastic leather bag like these from Opelle, hand made here in Toronto.

I also posted a bunch of other favourite to my Instagram feed (click through to see them!) including the super luxurious body butter from Love Fresh which I will be featuring in an upcoming beauty roundup because it is just so good.

What are you going to shop for at the Christmas One of Kind show?
