Flannel Shirt and a Blazer; What I wore to the Town X Trend event

There were so many shoes it was fantastic. And so many I wanted to snap off the shelves right away, or those styles that I had been stalking online already; definitely looking forward to the Town Shoes spring line up.

So I started with something I would usually wear like the flannel JCREW button down and some jeans (Real Straight from GAP) and added a classic blazer. My mini mac from ELUXE provided to be a bit too small for the day because of course my son decided to take off his shoes which totally didn’t fit into my bag. Really this bag is great if you either have a small wallet or if you are just carrying a wallet and MAYBE sunglasses. Otherwise it doesn’t fit much. Need to upsize to the larger style!

While I was at the Town x Trend event I posted a bunch of my favourite shoes and shoe trends for Spring Summer 2014 on instagram. If you were paying attention to trends this season, those that were emerging and those that are going strong I don’t think any of these styles are going to surprise you.

Personally I loved the slasher boots, the peep toe D’Orsay flats, basically all the funky walkable styles. These are all styles that I spent alot of time contemplating this season and am so going to invest in this coming Spring at Town Shoes.

In fact free people has a slasher boot here another version on sale here, a lace up wedge style here (also on sale), and another similar style here. Shopbop has lots of options for D’Orsay flats and slipper sneakers were seen at Joe Fresh this fall.
