ELUXE X torontoShopoholic; Nicholas Peplum Top
When I got this top the other day in the mail I started mentally going through my closet to dream up outfits. My first idea was to pair them with these 7 for all Mankind waxed skinny jeans.
Putting the whole look together I loved how the shiny silk and waxed denim worked together to create this kind of wet look. And the mirror print on the peplum top is even more amazing in real life.
The mirror print peplum top, coated jeans and ankle boots all together kind of give off a edgy vibe so I added a more feminine jacket to soften the look. The Rebecca Minkoff bag in Port is the perfect mix of edge and lady like to pull the whole thing together. I also love how the port colour plays off the pinks in the blouse.
The Nicolas peplum top fits large. I am in a size smaller than I would have usually taken, but the way the top is cut it hugs curves in all the right places. I will say that it would be better to have a racer back bra if you want to make sure the bra straps stay hidden. It is possible to just push a regular bra strap out of the way but I can’t say that it would work for an entire evening out or a day at the office.
