Winter Spring

wearing spring clothes in winter

After two weeks of feeling sick and finding out I had cellulitis, I am finally feeling more like myself and actually wearing something other than sweatpants.

When I started posting outfit pictures it was to push me out of the standard new mom wear of drapey sweaters and lounge pants. So I am actually glad to get back into the swing of things and break the bad habits that get established when we aren’t feeling our best.

I haven’t really spent alot of time investing in Spring items, but these floral pants above from Joe Fresh were something I just had to have.

Personally I think because these pants have a grey background it allows them to be paired with more cool wintery items.

I did a couple other things to bust myself out of the “I’ve been sick” funk I was in; I coloured my hair using Garnier Olia (super impressed, blog post to come) and piled on the new Stella & Dot Spring collection items.

I’m sorry you were sick but glad you’re feeling better. Those pants are SO cute! I think yellow and gray might be one of my favorite color combos.
