Red Jeans, Cargo Green and finishing touches

When I started putting this outfit together I had something totally different planned. I had wanted this blouse to go under my open-knit sweater and my wideleg jeans when I saw these red (well burgandy) jeans on the floor.

Yea that’s how I roll, clothes on the floor…

So I changed it up. Instead of the sweater I pulled out my favourite jacket and my trusty booties. I wear them alot – can you tell?

More than the outfit itself I am in love with the finishing touches. In particular the jewellery. Some pieces are ones I always seem to wear (just like the aforementioned jacket and booties) and others I change-up with each outfit I style.

My Asos watch is one that I wear often. Same with my wedding rings. My Stella & Dot bracelets, the serpent wrap and spike ones above are new but I have been wearing them alot.

Other items I wear often are my aviator sunglasses and my pyramid stud earrings. The aviators are just the ones I feel most like myself in and the studs are because my 7 month old might rip my ears off if I gave him something he could really hold onto!

I love layering up delicate necklaces. I find it gives the same effect as a dramatic statement necklace without all the bulk.
